Frequently Asked Questions
How often are subscription boxes / magazines sent out?
We currently send out the Marsasby Club boxes and magazines quarterly – at the start of March, June, September and December. We’re open to feedback if you’d prefer a different frequency.
When will I be charged for a subscription box?
When you first join, you’ll be immediately charged for the current period’s subscription case and it will be sent to you right away. You’ll then be charged at the start of each month that a case is due – March, June, September and December.
If the current period’s subscription box has sold out, you won’t be charged until the next quarter’s box is ready.
How are the boxes priced?
The Marasby Club will introduce you to wine being made by some of the most exciting winemakers in the UK today. The subscription model allows us to plan stock levels and keep costs down, which means we’re able to supply you at cellar door-matching prices.
Unlike some other clubs that offer obscure wines with massive mark-ups, when you pay £180 for wine from The Marasby Club, you’ll be getting £180-worth of wine.
What happens when I sign up?
You mean, other than being flooded with a great sense of inner peace?
Well, if we have some nice swag available, we’ll probably send you something to say thanks for joining the 1%. We might even invite you to a tasting. We’re pretty cool like that.
If I join, am I tied into membership forever?
Yes! And so are your children.
Actually no, just kidding. You can cancel anytime you like. Either through your account section on the website, or by getting in contact with us.
We’ll even get in touch with you six months after you join The Marasby Club to make sure that you’re still enjoying your membership and wish to continue. We’re that confident you’ll love being a member.
What if I don’t like one of the wines?
We’ve chosen the wines that go into The Marasby Club subscription boxes because we’re confident they’re amongst the best being made in the UK and will appeal to a wide range of tastes. Of course, not every single wine will hit your personal spot, so if you come across a bottle in one of your boxes that really is not for you, just let us know and we’ll refund you its cost.
We also love feedback – so even if you don’t really want to ask for a refund, please let us know if you don’t love one of the wines anyway. Customer feedback is the only way that we – and the UK wine industry – will keep improving.
What if a wine is corked?
Thankfully corked wine is much less common than it used to be, but it still happens occasionally, despite every precaution and the best possible storage conditions. In the unlikely event you find a corked bottle in one of your deliveries, just contact us for a refund or replacement (subject to stock).
Can I buy a one-off case for myself / as a gift?
Buying a case through the site will automatically sign you up to a regular subscription. This allows us to plan stock levels, keep costs to the same price as you would pay at the cellar door, and support the UK’s best winemakers.
But we always try to keep a few extra cases of each subscription box in stock, so if you’re after a one-off case either for yourself or as a gift, just get in contact with us to ask.
I’m a winemaker. How do I get my wines into one of your subscription boxes?
The Marasby Club gives our members the opportunity to taste wine being made by some of the most exciting winemakers in the UK today. If you’d like one of your wines to be considered for an upcoming subscription box, please get in contact to arrange a tasting.

Here we can have a section for reviews, thinking a 2-3 wide section of snippets from customers, either in a grid or slider that we can controll the reviews, rather than auto generated as this means negative reviews will be on the site (not that i think there will be any)
