Langham Culver Classic Cuvée is the estate’s Pinot-led benchmark wine, reminiscent of richer and more robust Champagnes like Bollinger and Veuve Clicquot – yet considerably more complex and satisfying. Aroms of red apple skin and black cherries, with a sumptuously rich, yet bone-dry palate.

The Langham Wine Estate team describe their Culver Classic Cuvée as a Pinot-dominant Classic Cuvée, which aims to be more rich and broad in character than Corallian, its Chardonnay-dominant counterpart.
This difference is highlighted in the warm 2020 vintage base wines, with bright red cherry, cranberry and apple blossom on the nose, and black pepper and cola on the palate.
“Lots of people are saying that English sparkling wine is better than Champagne. There are some great English sparkling wines don’t get me wrong, but when you generalise so much you’re going to miss out on some amazing things. So yes, there’s some bang-average Champagne, but there’s some bang-average English fizz as well. There are some exceptional Champagnes and there are some exceptional English sparkling wines.”
