Shotley Vineyard Bacchus comes from vines planted in the 1990s and early 2000s, just a few hundred metres from the sea in Suffolk’s Stour Valley. There’s defintely a hint of maritime influence, with saline oystershell character matching with the aromatic lime and elderflower.

This single estate Bacchus is floral with notes of elderflower on the nose. It’s crisp on the palate with hints of gooseberry and lime.
This wine pairs beautifully with chicken or seafood. Shotley Vineyard has over three thousand Bacchus vines which were planted in 1997, 1998 and 2003.
