Katie and Umut at Riverview Crouch Valley describe their 2021 Chardonnay as offering aromas of citrus and cream with a little lime zestiness, which beautifully complement flavours of juicy mandarin, racy acidity and a hint of perfumed lychee, resulting in a creamy, mouth-watering finish.
Fermented in old French barriques using traditional Burgundian yeast, then maintained in oak for malolactic fermentation and further ageing for another 12 months. Regular battonage provides extra creaminess and body.
