Gusbourne Estate describes their Blanc de Blancs 2018 as offering a bright golden colour with a delicate mousse.
It has classic Chardonnay aromas of green apple, citrus and mineral notes combined with buttered toast and Tarte Tatin richness from extended lees ageing.
Having already picked up a gold medal at the 2022 WineGB Awards, in ran off with the prize for Best in Show at the 2023 Decanter Wine Awards.
Gusbourne's wines are so good that there's something rather un-British about them.
