Greyfriars describe their Cuvée Royale 2016 as a fantastic wine, perfectly balanced, with a refined nose of freshly baked pastries and creamy apple dessert. Vibrant citrus notes from the Chardonnay and the gentle softness of the Pinot Noir delivers a luxurious finish reminiscent of braeburn apples.
It was fully fermented in oak barrels and went through malolactic fermentation. After bottling, it went through a further 4 years’ aging in the cellar.
