Visiting Guildford
Guildford is the county town of Surrey found just outside the M25. Stooped in rich historical heritage, Guildford is home to the first recorded cricket match, as well as Guildford castle, the only royal castle in the county. Since Guildford is just 27 miles from London and a day trip away from the south coast, it’s no surprise that the town is one of England’s most popular destinations for both international and domestic tourists.

Albury Organic Vineyard
This family-run vineyard stands out amongst those near Guildford due to its ethos of organic and biodynamic wine practices. It is run by Alex, one of the only female vineyard managers in the UK. Situated in the rolling hills of the North Downs, the picturesque setting gives rise to a range of fantastic sparkling and still wines. All of their wines can be enjoyed at the Albury tasting room along with cheese and regular music events. Notable mention must go to Albury’s superb Blanc de Noir.
